On-grid PV Rooftop Project, 2023
Beit Misk Sales Center Rooftop Project - 200 kWp
The Beit Misk Sales Center Grid-Tied Photovoltaic Solution, located in Beit Misk, Lebanon, is a landmark renewable energy project designed to combine sustainability with smart infrastructure use. Commissioned in November 2023, the 200 kWp solar plant features three SMA Sunny Tripower CORE1 (50 kVA) inverters, delivering an annual energy yield of approximately 300 MWh. The system was innovatively installed on a concrete rooftop structure, allowing for multiple functional uses of the space while ensuring long-term durability. This project, implemented by ME Green and ESS, enables significant self-consumption, generating annual savings of around USD 82,000 and reducing CO₂ emissions by approximately 180 tons per year—equivalent to planting 850 trees. Over its 25-year lifetime, the system is expected to offset nearly 4,500 tons of CO₂, reinforcing Beit Misk’s commitment to clean energy, environmental responsibility, and sustainable development.
