SMA Commercial Energy Solution ensures monitoring of your operational heat supply. You can now manually integrate power-consuming heating systems such as heat pumps, CHP and boilers into your energy systems and supply them with self-generated solar power from your PV system — directly from your roof or from the battery-storage system. In the near future, it will be possible to control this automatically.

It is early morning and the sun is already shining. Your PV system initially supplies the heat pump with solar power so that you have enough heat and hot water.
The sun continues to shine. Throughout the entire day, the electrical appliances in your company are supplied with solar power directly from the roof.
By the early afternoon, your PV system is generating more power than needed. A proportion of this surplus solar power is stored temporarily in the battery-storage systems.
The rest is used for operating your heat pump. But not all the heat generated is currently required, which is why the heat is stored temporarily in a thermal storage system.
