Solar Academy Jordan

Founded in 2021, SMA META operates the SMA Solar Academy training center in Jordan hosted at AlHussein Technical University (HTU). The academy aims to provide technical trainings for installers, engineers and solar professionals as well as theoretical and practical trainings on photovoltaics for undergradute and gradute students.

Solar Academy Jordan is dedicated to knowledge share cutting edge technologies straight from Kassel, Germany to the Middle East region via the HTU Hub. It is equipped with SMA’s on-grid, off-grid, hybrid and controller devices to simulate all sustainable energy solutions in the lab.

SMA staff flies from different regions to conduct specific trainings on different topics such as (Grid forming applications, Power to Gas, off-grid solutions) and all new technologies in the ever evolving renewable energy market.
