Residential systems
The SMA Smart Home will highlight SMA’s comprehensive system solution for intelligent energy management in the home, significantly increasing self-consumption and reducing energy costs. SMA will be launching the Storage Solution for Home Systems including the Sunny Boy Smart Energy, the wall-mounted large volume PV inverter with integrated storage system. This combination of a modern PV inverter and battery with an effective capacity of 2 kWh makes easy use of home-generated solar power possible virtually around the clock. Also targeted to home systems, SMA’s micro inverter Sunny Boy 240 will be featured along with a preview of the new Sunny Boy 1.5-2.5 for lower power classes, which will be available in 2015. The residential corner will be complimented by SMA’s service offering and integrated monitoring solutions available to end users to secure plant efficiency. Commercial PV Systems
In the Commercial Solutions’ corner SMA will exhibit the smaller Sunny Tripower-Generation, available up to 12 kW, as well as the new and more powerful Sunny Tripower with 20 and 25 kW expanded power classes, ideal for large scale commercial plants. As part of its recent strategic partnership with Danfoss, SMA will also present the MLX 60 for commercial and industrial PV systems. The MLX 60 combines the advantages of decentralized system design with the benefits of a centralized inverter design, in a solution that brings together the best of both worlds.
PV Power Plants
In the Large-scale PV corner you can find out more about the MV Power Stations, the ideal turn-key plug & play system for PV power plants in the UK, with the highest availability and efficiency in the industry at the lowest operating cost. You can also find out more about the new SMA Utility Power System. This optimized system includes the new Sunny Central inverter with 2200 kVA and 2500 kVA, a compatible medium-voltage block complete with switchgear and the Power Plant Controller and DC monitoring. Suitable for nearly every type of PV module now used in utility-scale plants, it is designed for outdoor use in all regions of the world.
