Sales Manager m/f

Power Plant Solution Business


Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the sales of SMA inverters for grid- and off grid-connected solar systems as well as the associated communications technology
  • Develops long lasting relationships by providing professional technical solutions, consultancy and product training for our innovative solar inverters to the key accounts PAN India.
  • Maintains and expands business with existing local key accounts and acquires new distribution partners and direct customers
  • Prepares tenders for photovoltaic projects
  • Carries out market research
  • Acts as a close liaison with the local Managing Director and the German sales and product management department
  • Prioritizes markets and determines market entry strategies for new provinces and regions
  • Sets ambitious targets and devises concrete plans to achieve them on an international and national level
  • Attends trade shows and conferences


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • High graded Bachelor´s degree, better a Master, in Electrical Engineering with a keen affinity for technical products
  • Represents a combination of a strong customer-oriented sales professional and an engineer, who has at least 10 years of working experience in the indirect selling and distribution of sophisticated technical products, ideally in a multinational company
  • Evident Experience in utility Business
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • High motivated and dynamic approach to sales
  • Strongly Success-oriented and flexible team player
  • Past experience in sales involving local clients is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel also in bordering countries
